Frequently Asked Questions
Hey Alicia, you didn’t build my site; am I eligible for a Care Plan?
We created the Care Plans to keep our web build clients’ sites in tip top shape, however we would love to have you join us for the long run.
We’ll perform a Site Evaluation to learn about how your website was built and document any possible issues. We will update and monitor your site, including creating a full backup. We’ll provide a full report noting issues to repair and improvements to consider so that we can get you up and running on a monthly plan. The Site Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee, based on your type of website.
What’s included in support time?
Whatever you like, usually it’s content updates or small design changes that can fit into your support time. New feature requests generally go over allotted time. If so, we’ll send a proposal for your approval before we proceed.
I need more hours, what happens?
Occasionally you may need a few more hours, with your approval we’ll add the hours needed to complete your request at the current support rate of $95/hour. If it looks like a substantial task, we’ll submit a proposal for your approval.
What’s a consulting call?
These calls are included in our Full Care and Champion Care plans. They’re great for everything from strategy sessions to training. We can discuss long term website planning and map the future improvements to your site as they relate to your business goals.
Can I rollover time to the next month?
We reserve your monthly time and dedicate our resources to responding to you quickly. With that in mind, the time does not rollover in the Essential Care and Full Care plans.
The Web Champion Care Plan include 2 hours Support Time which does rollover for up to a year for active client plans.
What if my site is hacked while on a Care Plan?
We’re here to come to the rescue; the point of our Care Plans is to prevent hacks, but we realize stuff happens and we’re here for you. We will be your advocate and communicate with your web host. If necessary, we’ll restore your site from a backup…and clean up the mess!
Can I cancel anytime?
Sure thing. We hate to see you go as we are all about making certain you are getting the service you need. To cancel anytime, email support@aliciakapheim.com and we’ll stop your next payment.
